Alkaş was founded in 1997 by Avi Alkaş to provide project development, leasing and management services to the shopping center and retail sector. Having realized dozens of shopping mall and mixed-use real estate projects such as Akmerkez, İstinye Park, Galleria, Zorlu Shopping Mall, Alkaş was acquired by JLL, the world's leading commercial real estate company, in 2007 and Avi Alkaş became the Country President of JLL Turkey, and the Leasing and Management Services function was transferred to JLL Turkey.
In 2010, Alkaş renewed and expanded its services with the motto "Synergy of Services" and continues to serve the retail and real estate sectors with its Fair, Sponsorship, Event and Consultancy activities. Since 2013, Alkaş has been running the Alp Alkaş Real Estate and Retail School with Özyeğin University, bringing professionals to the sector. Alkaş is a strategic partner of the international MIPIM and MAPIC fairs, adding consultancy and trainings in the field of gastronomy retail to its service network.
Nurus was founded in 1927 by Nurettin Usta. Nurettin Usta's legacy was inherited by his daughter Birten Gökyay and her husband Akın Gökyay, the first female industrialist registered with the Ankara Chamber of Industry. Nurus brand was born from the name Nurettin Usta with the step taken in the name of institutionalization since the 80s.Nurus decided to specialize in the production of office furniture with the increase in demands from the private sector and public institutions since the 1980s.
